Art Flowers, proudly established in May 2005 began its journey with a passion for crafting stunning floral arrangements.

Starting with exquisite wedding hand bouquets, elegant table arrangements, and majestic standing flowers, we quickly cultivated a reputation for skill and creativity.

Over the years, we have grown and evolved, expanding our expertise and services to meet the ever-changing needs of our cherished clients.

ACHIEVEMENTS

 
  • From 1997 to 1999

I learned Japanese flower arrangement with Mrs. Tony S, who is a master of Ikebana.

 
  • From 2000 to 2004, 

I studied finance management at UNTAR university until I graduated. While I was in university, I also had the opportunity to study at the Nobleman School of Floral Design in Singapore for 3 months.

 
  • In 2004 & 2005, 

I attended the Newlines Floral Education Centre with Andi Djati Utomo to continue my floral education.

 
  • In 2022,
    I obtained a KFDA 2 certificate from Florisity in Kuala Lumpur.


  • In 2023,
    I learned Japanese Flower Arrangement with Ms. Yuki Yoshikawa

Yona Sumali

Founder & CEO

Yona Sumali, founder of Art Flowers, has a lifelong passion for floristry. Her journey began in 1997, studying Japanese flower arrangement under Ikebana master Mrs. Tony S.

While earning her finance degree at UNTAR University (2000-2004), Yona pursued her love for floral design with training at Singapore’s Nobleman School of Floral Design and later at Newlines Floral Education Centre with Andi Djati Utomo.

Since founding Art Flowers in 2005, Yona has continued to refine her craft, earning the prestigious KFDA Level 2 certificate in 2022.

Blending artistic mastery with business acumen, Yona transforms her passion into stunning floral creations for life’s most cherished moments.
